And also, even schoolchildren mock the slop. In some areas of life, AI assistance will become the norm. In others, the hand of a maker will give things a cachet and command a premium. Companies chasing a buck will definitely cut costs with AI wherever they can. And also they will look to provide what people value - and that includes what embodies the taste, judgement, and craft perfected by people.

It will be messy for a long time. But keep being awesome because it matters and because you love it. And support others who love what they make. (The corporations will follow your lead because they want that money, too.)

Increasingly, capitalism seems to be detaching from reality so that it no longer matters whether anyone is helped by a product / service, or even if there's a plausible way to make money through people paying for stuff. It's all financialization games about pretend numbers, and capturing the government to bail them out of any trouble.

On the contrary, it kept growing almost out of control as medical groups who tried those two options found they desperately needed detail-oriented professionals for *the most lucrative* parts of their transcription work.

She truly got more work than she wanted and kept selling off clients to shrink her business. And more clients kept coming as frustrated practices asked friends who they used for the work.

*Hang in there!* Some minor/BS/low importance stuff will shift to for good, and good riddance. But after the clients you want get a taste of AI they’ll find that they have projects where taste, judgment, and attention to detail really matter and are worth paying for.
