Part of my reason for switching to Mastodon in the first place was it had this very functional UI which acted much like Tweetdeck. The latest UI isn't even hot garbage, it's just garbage. What an unusable mess. I've got this always on sidebar eating up my pixels and it overlaps my primary timeline at launch unless I make the font so small as to be unreadable for my middle aged eyes. Please just revert this shit.
