<![CDATA[In my opinion developing open source software is a political statement.]]>In my opinion developing open source software is a political statement. The idea that open source projects can be non-political baffles me.

I acknowledge that tax policy is outside the scope of most projects.

I would love to see projects saying "This person has made toxic tax policy positions his whole identity. As a non-political project we can't endorse and idolize him" instead of just "We're a non-political project, it would be political not to endorse him.

This post is not about taxes.
