The NASA administrator is appointed by Trump, and is thus directly tied to the orange clown, the Artemis program is kind of a clusterfuck of a space program, and finally after discovering problems with the Artemis I heat shield during re-entry, NASA has made changes to the structure of the Artemis II heat shield and to the re-entry profile.

All of this has killed any excitement, I might have had.

Which was the point of having a lunar space station I think.

It is also not entirely clear what the point of Artemis actually is. Not too long ago (like a month or so) the lunar gateway was scrapped in favor of building a base on the surface, and then the timeline going forward seems waaaaay too optimistic considering how slow progress has been going so far.

Also, the crew is a single father, a woman, a black guy & a Canadian, so at least we can be sure that the orange assclown & his minions are still seething with anger right now.
