<![CDATA[Goat morning.]]>Goat morning. The slightly older baby goats managed to walk all the way to the daytime pen from the barn without me carrying them, but required multiple eating breaks along the way.

I counted up 10 baby goats in 2 snuggle piles. Could not find baby goat number 11, who is just about 24 hours old at this point. I was getting increasingly frantic trying to find him, when I checked more carefully next to his mama.

It's really impressive what a tiny space a 1 day old baby goat can fit into (he was totally fine and warm and happy). Try to spot him!

A lovely place. (I don't miss having to worry about hoof rot when we had goats in that climate though. Lots of things to worry about raising goats in Saskatchewan, but hoof rot is not one of them!)

But many of them sound nearly exactly the same (to me, the babies can for sure tell who their mama is, and vice versa!)
