The content warning will cover both your own post and the quoted post.

Just to clarify, this method only works with posts that can be quoted. The person writing the post decides whether they want to allow quoting, so if they forbid quoting then you can't use the quoting method.

Quoting should be available on any server running Mastodon v4.5.0 or newer. Archaeo.social is running software newer than that version but toot.lgbt is still on older software.

However, not every post can be quoted as each person posting decides on whether they give permission to be quoted when they publish the post.

You should be able to quote this reply on archaeo.social. If you can't see this option in your app, try it on the website or through a different app.

I don't think mine does as "retweeting" has been used to harass on twitter in the past so it's disabled on our server.
