I don’t doubt there’s a severe drought on, but the Loire is famously a shifting river. The photos from 2022 were in *winter*.</p><p>Not playing it down, but that was 2022, after several years of general drought in France. It was overflowing 4 months ago in the exact same spot, it's not so bad right now because we had two wet winters in a row.
