I saved a laptop on with an 8th gen Intel, Win 11 on an HDD made it all but unusable. Starting to do the same for my relatives. We have saved hundreds if not thousands of euros by continuing to use those laptops beyond the planned obsolescence date set by Microsoft or Apple.
