I've been very satisfied using Todoist for 5+ years in private and at work and this has me looking seriously for an exit. Save the awkward name, it seems to have all the features I need and also the added bonus of being local-first, ie. all the stuff is basically lots of small files on your phone or computer. That makes using it potentially very fast, which is the most important feature for any task manager. You can sync the files between devices. https://super-productivity.com

malte@radikal.social

Reply to If you're a pro user of task manager #Todoist like me, you're probably dissatisfied too to hear they're increasing the price 106% to fund racing the LLM-bubble (so called AI features). on Sat, 06 Jun 2026 12:19:21 GMT

I've been donating to #Vikunja for a couple of years hoping they would solve the last few bits I need to make the switch, esp. better hotkeys.
