It's been just a bit more than two months since he took office, and frankly the weather in the city has sucked about 2/3 of that time. Y'know, like so bad, even criminals stayed home because it sucked going outside, for weeks on end.

I think Mamdani is going to be a great mayor, but maybe wait another few months until when the city has been 'normal' for a while before these breathless reports?

Mamdani brought in former Genocide Joe officials Lina Khan.

Mamdani backtracked on defunding the police and apologized for calling them racist, but they are racist, extremely racist. Something that has been well documented by the NY ACLU.

Mamdani has been a huge disappointment for progressives so far.
