It is not the state's job, nor should it be. This whole effort is a massive red flag. Devices and their operating systems should be largely content agnostic. And at most, equip parents with the tools to manage their kids’ use. And here's the kicker, just don't buy kids devices!!! Then there is nothing to manage. There is no making this surveillance nonsense "safe” once it’s there, it will be used maliciously.
