Panellists:
Hind Khoudary is a journalist and one of the most prominent voices reporting from Gaza. She has worked as a freelance correspondent for Amnesty International and has been reporting for Al Jazeera English since October 2023.
Oliver Stilling is a journalist, editor, publisher and co-founder of the Danish media platform Føljeton. He has written for leading Danish newspapers and magazines and worked as an editor at Ud & Se, Danmarks Radio and Politiken.
Wafa' Abdel Rahman is the founder and General Director of Filastiniyat, based in Ramallah. She also founded the Palestinian Women Journalists’ Club, uniting over 900 women journalists across Gaza and the West Bank, and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the NAWA Feminist News Agency.
Rizwana Hamid is the Director of the Centre for Media Monitoring, which monitors how British media reports on Muslims and Islam. Rizwana has worked in print, radio and television for over 30 years for the BBC, C4 and other international media outlets.
The discussion will be moderated by Rasmus Alenius Boserup, the Executive Director of EuroMed Rights.
There will also be a photo exhibition honouring Palestinian journalists, presented in collaboration with IMS’ partner organisation Filastiniyat.
