That's important to know. Many instances are not so fast with updates.
Also I'm not sure, do all involved instances have to be on 4.5+? Say if a person on instance A toots something, I quote it with my account on instance B, will a follower on C see the quote? Even if A and C run older versions of Mastodon or some Fediverse software, which is not Mastodon?
