@FediTips Yep that would be it. Specifically having to word it myself and knowing it will be scrutinized by a human. Im not sure how its supposed to deter bad actors either, considering how easily they could lie.

@FediTips for me, a sufferer of severe social anxiety, sending messages to a stranger asking them for something fills me with panic and I give up immediatly. I actually ended up setting up my own instance from scratch because it was way less mentally taxing for me.
