just to correct something, NodeBB will not send a mention unless you are specifically mentioned. We do auto populate a mention in the text box though, so it’s probably happening because of that. What we also do is send the message to everybody so everybody has a copy. (Everybody is addressed) e.g. you should not have been mentioned here.

Depends on the project, and I imagine a lot of the smaller ones are your standard FOSS BDFL leadership. In my case I’ll likely make a rough milestone list based off our NLNet memorandum and go from there.
