    I didn’t want to go to the hardware store so i tried to fix the fan myself. I got it working again so now my wife will be very pleased.

        First i took the complete unit from the ceiing, dissasembled and cleaned all parts. Put them back together and re-centred the spool and the rotors.
        After that i mounted it back to the ceiling and it works like new again. No more noise and not getting stuck anymore.
