Kender jeg nogen der er elev som tømrer og kunne have lyst til at bygge et tiny house / redskabsskur som et skoleprojekt? -

Harvesting the first seed of the season - pink-flowered dandelions.@Soesterlystig Hold dig tæt på frømafiaen, følg hashtagget #FrieFrø.
@malterod is one of my favourite homo sapiens.@yungleaf It really does! I'm happy we're both human too. -
Very quickly made and interesting recipe for vegan sardine.@yungleaf You're teasing with the recipe hashtag and no recipe! -
Wow I've never had so many quince flowers.@dillyd@turtleisland.social People are discussing whether this is a quince or not. The common names are not great here. Where I live, we call it "rose quince" - a typical English name is flowering quince. Yes, it's a different genus than the common quince Cydonia. The fruit are not only the edible, they are delicious. We use them in jam especially, but they make a great lemonade too and addition to savory food. Good luck! -
Wow I've never had so many quince flowers.@Tarnport@mastodon.green Then your knowledge is not based on experience. The fruits are delicious. For my palate, and most people that taste it, it is more aromatic than the common quince. @dillyd@turtleisland.social -

Farmers, gardeners and other folks who use water management technologies: I'd like to tell you that a lot of your equipment is likely financing the occupation in Israel/Palestine.If you want a quick summary of how Israel is using those water management technologies to create life threatening water shortages in Palestinian territories, here's a 5 minute video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCh043-gLIM -

Israel's "occupation of water" has made it possible to grab a vital agricultural resource in the region and literally drained or redirected water from the Palestinian territories. It has also made Israel a world leading country in water management technologies. Go to any farming operation in Europe and you'll see lots of equipment produced by this occupation. I don't want to support this industry and will make efforts to get pipes, valves and drip irrigation from other places. Ask your local distributor to get you other producers. I just did and after insisting, they found them.
Here's a list of some of the most important brands tied to the occupation:
Aqwise
Atlantium
Mekorot
Netafim - drip irrigation
Arad Group - water gauges
IDE Technologies - desalination
Tahal Consulting Engineers - water engineering
Amiad Filtration Systems - drinking water filtration
Bermad - pipes, valves etc.
Arkal - cleaning and filtering
Global Environment Solutions (GES) - water and waste water management

We planted the seeds of a new farmer's market last Saturday at @christiania.freetown on the old pusher street.@yungleaf We're talking with Grønt Marked about making 2-4 pop up markets over the season, so it might return in a bigger way actually.
