Nora Wickham has always been drawn to the mechanics of a good mystery: the clue placed in plain sight, the narrator who isn't quite telling the whole truth, the moment a story turns and asks the reader to reconsider everything they thought they knew. That fascination began with an education in English literature, where she spent more time than was strictly necessary tracing the architecture of classic detective fiction, and it never really left her.
