Full professor for biomedical imaging and head of the Institute of Biomedical Imaging at TU Graz. I do systems engineering for magnetic resonance imaging. In particular, I work on the low-level real-time software that controls the behavior of nuclear spins at nanosecond resolution and on the numerical algorithms that compute images from the acquired data. I support open science and free software. Opinions are my own.
