@dromografos The socialdemocrats (A) have had power for 100 years, with the support from the socialist party (SF) and the communist party (Ø).
But now the 2 leftist parties have outgrown A. A have then declared they rather want 4 years in opposition or making a coalition with support of neoliberal and far right parties, than making SF or Ø mayor.
After that, A have been running a terrible campaign fighting for right wing support.

Its a bit like the cuomo situation in NY.
