@therivercrow Yeah, maybe that's it, because the whole idea of the app never interested me lol I don't even watch Instagram reels. I don't even use IG, really, I'm just there to check on my Indonesian muses now and then

@therivercrow I mean, it does specifically say it collects that information *if the user provides it*.. i.e. in a video they’ve made. I always assumed they were collecting that tbh. It recommends videos based on the ones you’ve already watched so it has to know something about the content of that video. IMO this isn’t really new it’s just more explicit.
