I just want to adress points 1 & 2 here:

They have just too many sponsors to be dependant on a single one. Even if it's from the highest tier, as in this case. The money basically pays 2 full-time salaries.

@Blender We did. It still sucks. This is a TERRIBLE look for the project. Anthropic and the whole "AI" project in general has been nothing but destructive to anything it touches. They're taking OUR creations, whether it be 3D models, drawings, music, writing, code, you name it WITHOUT PERMISSION and then try to sell us back a slopified, soulless version of it. Everyone has receipts! How is this not getting through?!
