You tube bans Al Jazeera !

I spent a month in the VA hospital 12 years ago and was surprised to see Al Jazeera was one of the channels I could watch. I was impressed by the quality of their news reporting and other programming. It reminded me of CNN's early days before it became commercialized trash.

@Geri I don't know the details, and I'm certainly not familiar with the details of the situation, but: Google (YouTube) is hardly able to ignore Israeli law, agree or disagree. They've blocked, e. g., Kurdish nationalist (and those accused of being Kurdish nationalist) organizations in Turkey before.

I am a Google-avoider, not a fan of the company at all, but they aren't above the law and shouldn't be.
