@Vivaldi Hey, random question, can I sign into a Google workspace account on Vivaldi like I can with chrome?
I don't want to use chrome, but I do need to sign into all my Google Workspace apps for work...
Yes, you can.

@lebochequirit @Vivaldi @IzzyOnDroid f-droid is for open source apps.
@anderslund
F-droid the website, yes. But the option to host your own f-droid repository is open to companies like Vivaldi as well. -

An f-droid repo is basically a list of APKs - plus some signing stuff. There is no way it could differentiate between closed and open source (at least as long as whoever is building the repo has the code). -

Same as adding untrusted repos to any other package manager. -

• Manifest V2 extensions won't work but Manifest V3 AI extensions will "Because Vivaldi is built using the Chromium web browser project, extensions available in the Chrome Web Store can also be installed in Vivaldi."• if liked the Big Tech browser engine Chromium used by Chrome, Vivaldi, Edge, Brave, etc... that would be okay but I am de-googling so no Google Chromium based Vivaldi for me.
• if liked tabs, I guess Vivaldi would be cool, but I absolutely cannot stand tabs.

https://vivaldi.com/blog/vivaldi-on-desktop-7-8/@Vivaldi Really thinking about switching to Vivaldi now as this is a feature I wanted for years already.. But I dont really want to give Google a complete monopoly on their rendering engine

https://vivaldi.com/blog/vivaldi-on-desktop-7-8/@Vivaldi As mentioned in your post, the previous implementation of Pinned Tabs never made sense to me. Restricting the pinned tab to a particular domain is a good step. However, I would like to see a keyboard shortcut that returns the pinned tab to the original pinned URL. Dia offers that option.
