Bit a growing number are fighting back

Data centres are the 21st Century's "outsourcing" -- stealing electricity, stealing WATER(!), stealing jobs and making you pay.

Another of the untenable moral costs of AI.

Oh, you don't understand, they know, they just don't care.
People shall be made redundant but for those needed as serfs, that's the whole thing right now.
So the ugly rich can fight over all the remaining resources and don't have to share anything, let alone discuss their awful behaviour with those pesky little people

Because that's the truth. When these companies say something, it doesn't mean thet they will do it. When they say "it will run on renewable power" they mean "you will need to provide the power and it must be renewable."
