10 years ago, every classroom in a German school used to have one of those. Lots likely still do. Maybe some switched to document cameras. But then teachers will just put their old transparent slides under the camera...

Serious flashbacks to my grade 11 math/calculus class and our teacher's hand written lesson guides with letters flaked off that you could not read to save your life. Asking for clarification led to being labeled a problem student. I taught myself math that year.
