I am so tired of rich white fascists.

    So, a question:

What programing languages and operating systems have the most diverse folks "in charge"? Who are the most inclusive? Who as at least as many women as men? What projects are steered by a full chorus of LGBTQIA+ folks? Where are BIPOC putting their energy and power?

'Cause every time we complain about a fash we should lift up the work they fight against two times.

@troublewithwords programming language: Rust. OS: Linux, especially Arch and Gentoo I think, but any Linux is definitly ok.

There aren't many women in active developing of these projects (women are a minority in all of IT, for some weird reason), but the project I mentioned are sure very LGBTQ+ friendly and very inclusive in general.

In my opinion though using inclusive projects or avoiding the white heterosexual cisgender man is not the point; the point is to eliminate any kind of discrimination directly. I mean, I don't give a damn if the person who makes a program is male, female, white, black, hetero, gay etc; if it's a good program I'll use it. That's real equality for me!

@troublewithwords Emacs, guix, guile etc. have plenty diverse folks working on them. XMPP and Debian as well.

                Thanks, I guess.

@shadowrocket227 How fucking clueless do you have to be to jump into a thread asking for recommendations of technology controlled by diverse communities, then provide Rust--which has an extremely white, extremely male leadership team--and Linux--same thing--then say, "I don't give a damn, equality is when I like a program"?

In terms of OS stuff; Lix (Nix compatible package manager) is the most diverse little project I know.

Apart from that KDE also seems *very* inclusive, if somewhat less diverse. They unveiled a non-binary mascot this past Pride Month, Kori, who literally hatched from an egg xD
