@davidrevoy And I agree with other commenters. You should ignore them. I really like your art style and sense of humor. Changing it because of some 'sh*tty' comments would be a shame. You should only change it because you found a new/better way to express yourself.

I think this must be a 'user' thing, people assume you use Facebook, or other big tech social media, we can tell this as there is very little option to 'share on fediverse' for example.

Another example is the media talk about people who are apparently super famous usually either influencers or reality TV stars that no one out side of those circles of influence have even heard of.

@davidrevoy I feel so sorry for you. When artists now have to post a TIMELAPSE just to prove they did NOT post AI slop, something is very very broken.

HOT TAKE: The burden of proof lies on the accuser, not the artist. If you cannot prove something is #AI #slop, STFU!

@davidrevoy Est-ce que c'est parce que les gens sur ces plateforme sont beaucoup plus confronté à des images IA? Sur le fediverse j'en vois très rarement et je me ne suis jamais dis que ton art ressemblait à de l'IAgen (mais je le connais depuis longtemps aussi).

Je partage souvent tes œuvres et j'ai un très beau fond d'écran avec une course de dragon, j'ai souvent des réactions pour me demander quel artiste a fait ça (et que c'est très beau) et personne ne m'a dit que c'est de l'IA.

... despite me never actually using AI.

Even taking the personal views aside, after checking through some online AI detectors (AI's themselves mostly! Oh the irony!) I still scored high on the AI Gen score.

This was a slightly tongue in cheek response to that. But as stated above I'm in the unfortunate position where my normal writing voice sounds like something ChatGPT would spew out

@davidrevoy This is my biggest fear with high quality digital art (which, inevitably, ends up as source material for AI mostly due to the unscrupulous ways that stuff is scraped). I know a lot of folk whose workflows switched to entirely digital WAY before all of this nonsense kicked off who are getting exactly the same, and it's particularly insulting when you MAKE A POINT OF POSTING YOUR PROCESS VIDEOS REGULARLY! Which says more about these commenters' complete lack of engagement

@davidrevoy et dire que sur les mêmes réseaux, d'autres s'extasient de voir de mouises indubitablement réalisées par IA par des personnes sans talent qui reçoivent des félicitations pour avoir écrit un prompt qui a été à peu près compris par la machine.
Ce monde me fascine.
Je préférerais le regarder depuis la lentille d'un télescope, mais un techno-connard vient de balancer sa fusée pourrie sur ma base lunaire.

@Gend4r Oui, on sent vraiment le besoin de critiquer n'importe quel détail au delà même de l'accusation AI. C'est vraiment le propre des gens qui ne créent rien, mais qui ont leur mot à dire sur le travail des autres. @davidrevoy

Un truc que je pense que l'IA ne fait pas encore, c'est des timelapses du dessin. Peut être que ça peut en persuader certains si c'est pas trop chiant à générer avec krita.

Si tu publies une vidéo te montrant en train de dessiner de A à Z une planche de ton art, j'imagine qu'il y aura toujours une personne pour affirmer que c'est une vidéo générée par IA ?
