I'm sarting with these yellow beauties in the setting sun. 🧡
(I increased the saturation and contrast of the picture a bit to get the feeling across that they gave me in reality and that my camera couldn't quite capture by itself.)

I'm not sure if it reminds me of a penis or a vulva... or both. But it definitely looks smutty.

Cherry blossom at night. The smell seemed even more intense in the dark.
Edit: I'm now thinking this could have actually been a Judas tree (Cercis siliquastrum)? These flowers did give off a nice little smell and I think flowering cherries don't really have any?

I found another Judas tree, this time in daylight.
Kudos to the little snail who made it all the way up onto that branch!

Today I came by a wheat field that was speckled with ever so many poppies. It looked stunning.
Thousands of blood drops in the greenest ocean there ever was.
I tried taking photos that would do it justice. I failed. I nevertheless want to show you two of the pictures that I snapped.
But you have to believe me that the actual thing was really so much prettier.

I tried taking photos that would do it justice. I failed. I nevertheless want to show you two of the pictures that I snapped.
But you have to believe me that the actual thing was really so much prettier.
I passed by that field again, there was less wind and I could take some more and maybe slightly better pictures. So here is today's poppy overflow!
