Veganism is not bad in and of itself and I think it is in fact better to be a vegan. But veganism is at the bottom of the social justice causes, and the priority should be for humans to treat one another with dignity. Because we can't treat other animals with respect if we're too busy mistreating animals of the same species.

@jackielovescompchem32 @almibe @zzt I'm not doing it as a social justice cause, I'm doing it because I've seen how animals are treated before being killed (and then being killed), and I want no part in that. I can do that and still work toward a better life for humans. And it's relatively easy: simply stop buying food made from animals. Eliminating poverty is hard; buying lentils is easy.
