    hey what's the most decent linux app for filling out PDFs? I need to be able to add text and draw on them, not just interact with form elements since a lot of documents are just floating text

    i got okular but its pretty slow, lots of mouse interactions needed for adding each text field
    #gnome #kde

        @dantescanline
        In okular I need one click to add a text:

        F6 shows annotation tools
        ALT + 5 starts/stops text ("typewriter") tool

        *click* (+ optionally drag) for position
        type text in dialog
        CTRL + RET to apply.

        Repeat last three steps for more text entries.

            @dantescanline It's not obvious, but common in similar situations, like send a mail when you are done typing. They could put a tooltip for that button to help 🙂
