More than half has and uses, or wants, a todo-list app. Some people tend to use tools that allows to edit the data in a text editor (Me too).
So here is a very preliminary prototype of a simple checklist app. Actually usable, though no data is saved at this point. Made with qml and Kirigami, aimed at mostly #linux and ofc linux on mobile.

komodo can be used similarly if wanted@aks @svuorela I did have a look at komodo, but I find todo.txt way too complicated. I have a android app using todo.txt (SimpleTodo, but it is not simple at all), which is why I make this.
All you have to enter is a string, the interface is a single textfield and two buttons - one to add item, one to add + end adding, meaning you can add as many items as you want - the textfield stays open as long as you wish.
This is meant for simple use cases, but for me, that is the majority

@anderslund @svuorela oh yeah it can be complicated, though komodo supports plain lists too. Anyway no problem at all, if this works for you and you had fun making it, thats all that matters!
