My not so #silentsunday - a glorious hour in the #garden, the #rhododendrons and #azaleas are at their peak and the birds are singing loudly, I identified 6 different species including redstart, chiff chaff, greater spotted woodpecker and blackcap with the help of the birdnet app. The garden meanwhile is soaked in the succulent fragrance of what I think is the rhodo variety 'polar bear'. Probably my absolute favourite, thanks to that scent, of the at least 12 different varieties we grow.

I often wish I was better at gardening so I could enjoy many more flowers (but then I may just enjoy lying on a carpet and reading a bit too much for that to happen, haha).
