I’ve sort of got used to paying by app now. However I got stymied the other day at a railway station, mobile internet not working, no machine at all, sign says you can pay at the ticket office. Goes to ticket office. Only open for a few hours in the morning

I notice people in Ireland paying cash much more in the supermarket than the UK and I admit I quite like that. I maybe only use cash to tip now so I know they get it rather than Nameless Huge Corp Ltd

@Natasha_Jay Reminds me of the message I get from my screen reader when my computer has for some reason shifted away from the ap or window I was on. When I hit the keystroke for, "where am I," it says, "lost focus." A bit too relatable.
