Dear Europe,

Dear Europe,
I know you're having a tremendous time yelling at Americans, and fair enough for that, but get your houses in order because what happened in the United States is being orchestrated in your countries, and it may prevail as long as you let this sort of thing grow.

And as soon as they finish locking down the US, that will free up resources to work on the next target.

This fight does not follow international borders. It's a global fascist network, they are coordinating with each other, and the resistance to it must also be global and coordinated.

We had fascism here in Europe, rather famously, 80 years ago, so you'd think people would be aware!
And yet we have white people here on the fediverse who say stuff like "Racism is so horrible in the USA, I'm glad we don't have that here in Europe" and who are willfully ignoring all the racist incidents in Europe, because they see each of these countless incidents as an individual, unfortunate outlier.
The very same people agree when someone says that racism in the USA is a structural problem.

@alexwild borders are fascist

@alexwild I recommend Carney's speech, he brings the situation to the point: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btqHDhO4h10

I absolutely agree, they are following the same playbook, buying news media, bribing politicians and lying to the people.
(German here, and I am *appalled* at what is happening everywhere.)

@alexwild The AfD and TPUSA almost certainly are two sides of the same virtual racist christofascist organization

It's almost as if countries and nationalism are designed to divide the vast majority with common interests, to make them easier to rule by a global oligarchy.

The most terrifying thing is seeing theoretical left wing parties (socialists, for example) taking a no immigration stance, for fear of losing votes.
There is no way I am voting to xenophobic party ever.
And I don't think I am the only one.
I have no close ties with any immigrants, it is only a matter of integrity and basic human rights for me. I cannot imagine what can people who does be thinking now.
Some politicians have shit for brains.

True. And it's largely funded by the US as well... -

I can't tell you enough how the "look at what those dumb Americans did to themselves" blinds you from what is happening to all the established institutions, and sends you down the path to further disintegration.

@alexwild In every western country.
This is an international attack of unprecedented scale and funding.
-

The AfD is full of neonazis, I don't think that christianity plays a big role there? Germany is more secular than the USA.

@alexwild Don’t think for a second we’re unaware of the consequences of having a neonazi party setting the agenda in a weak government

@alexwild
Thanks for the warning, but my impression is that most people who are lucid enough to see the abysmal madness in the US also see the madness in their own countries.The main problem is the people who do not recognise stupidity anywhere.
-

@alexwild It shouldn't blind, but it does. "It couldn't happen to me" is standard defence reaction. The systems work similarly all over the world. Some countries have built better safeguards, but they might not be enough. All this hate is so sad. And predictable.

@alexwild I mean, we are aware and worried, trust me.
But to be clear, a lot of the rise of the far right in Europe is a US export. The 2008/09 financial crisis was caused there. Even the EU migrant crisis has causal ties to US imperialism in the middle east. Facebook, Twitter and YouTube come from the US. Trumpism is being actively imported here. And now, the US has made it official foreign policy to undermine European democracy.
Divesting from the US is part of getting our house in order.

Honestly, the global right wing is a cancer within humanity.
