Today, two friends and I are going play a game we are calling 'Swerverance' (after the TV show Severance).
We will draw straws. The loser gets blindfolded and put in the back seat of the car. The other two will drive that person up to an hour away.
Then the blindfold is removed and that person has to drive back to where we started without looking at a phone or computer for directions.
@MLE_online Did you try to "follow along" with the kidnappers even when you were blindfolded? Or did you just check out for the ride and figure things out after you reached?

@amenonsen i mostly checked out. Once you're on a freeway it's hard to tell what's going on

@MLE_online Sounds like a fun exercise, I'll see if I can try it sometime at home (no freeways, all small mountain roads). I suspect it would be impossible for me to switch off during the drive out, but I might make some mistake and mislead myself.
