@becomingwisest @gnome @FediTips https://tube.kockatoo.org/c/gnome/videos from what I see here, the videos are uploaded to the channel. Maybe something is up with your client? Sorry, I don't really have much experience with PeerTube

@tragivictoria @becomingwisest @gnome@floss.social
It's a slightly complicated situation to do with PT channels vs accounts, basically:
- If you're following from Mastodon etc the best one to follow is @gnome_community
- If you're following from PeerTube the best one to follow is @gnome@tube.kockatoo.org
(Longer answer is that Mastodon shows PeerTube channels as groups, which affects how they federate videos. Both options work, but following channels may make it more likely to look blank at first on a Masto server.)

@FediTips @becomingwisest @gnome@floss.social @gnome_community @gnome@tube.kockatoo.org unfortunate thing to learn after making an annoucement
Thanks, I asked someone to edit the post -

Thanks, I asked someone to edit the postIt doesn't make quite as much difference once you've built up a following, it's mainly significant when no one is following the accounts
It would become more significant if you're going to put multiple unrelated channels on the same PT account, as those will all be branded together under one account's name on Mastodon, even if following the channels shows them separately.
