It's your choice anyway how to promote the app but for me it feels like it will do more harm than the actual help.
Federated social networks are full of people who at minimum just ignore "yet another slop" because they're sick of it. And some will even make a pretty vocal drama out of it

really? the ArcaneChat mascot in the welcome screen was AI generated (plus a lot of manual cleanup and tweaking work in GIMP to remove all the quirks and weird stuff), even the ArcaneChat logo was created using an AI-generated image as base
I am not an artist, tweaking stuff in GIMP is my limit, if some professional artist wants to work for free full time creating promotional content for ArcaneChat they are welcome

I like arcane chat for now and will stop using it only after the evidence of serious bugs created by AI tools.
I don't aesthetically like most of ai videos (like yours) but who cares. Especially since I'm good at plainly ignoring what I don't like

just so you know, this makes this whole project look vibe coded. I assume thats not really a good idea to look this way for an app that states it's privacy focused.

Works great for whatsapp@MarkAssPandi AI has been used to help solve problems, the project is not "vibe coded" tho, and random stuff doesn't get added without human review and modifications, but AI has been used as some sort of "auto-completion"

and believe me, I am way less extremelly against AI than most of people that would be your target.

So when you post something like this, you might deal with people disagreeing with your decisions.
Cus you act like a larger scale project.
Heck, for personal projects do whatever you want, vibe code it for what I care, but you made the project larger than just a personal thing
