Four () stars."

@Natasha_Jay Conclusion: Always listen to the smart woman!

[hakona@im.alstadheim.no]

@Natasha_Jay
Had a crush on her I have to admit.

[kete@sunny.garden]

@Natasha_Jay Someone basically said the Alien movie is similar to needing an abortion. (https://chaos.social/@thefinalstrawradio/117422516493021781)

[rob_l@mas.to]

@Tania_and_Waldemar @Natasha_Jay Aliens is a film where still no one listens to the smart women and even more people die.

@Natasha_Jay Love the review!

[cos@fosstodon.org]

@Natasha_Jay otherwise great review but how it can get only four stars? It's one of best scifi movies ever.

#movies #alien

[kate@mk.absturztau.be]

@Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt ...as a sad side effect the authors thought it necessary to counter all this by making her carry the baby of the monster alien. At least this is in the sequel.

[catraxx@tech.lgbt]

@Natasha_Jay There are two more sequels of people not listening to her, too!

Until a few seconds ago, i was rather convinced that Sigourey Weaver was already dead for a few years . I'm pleased to learn she's not. 🤩

[kolya@social.cologne]

@Natasha_Jay The script was famously written without gender roles, but nevermind.

@Natasha_Jay I would have said that was Aliens.
I always thought Ripley got a bit lucky in Alien.
Made entry of her own luck too.

[tbgosalvez@social.vivaldi.net]

@Natasha_Jay i totally forgot about the cat

[toxy@mastodon.acc.sunet.se]

@Natasha_Jay The smart women. If they had all listened to Lambert everyone would have been ok. In fact Veronica Cartwright says as much on the Blu-Ray commentary. Kane would have never even have been impregnated. Lambert ftw!

@Natasha_Jay This quick synopsis of my favorite flick tracks.

Truth!

[monsieur_lepetit@toot.community]

@Natasha_Jay

The exact moment when this is materialized:
Ripley: Ash, that transmission... Mother's deciphered part of it. It doesn't look like an S.O.S.

Ash: What is it, then?

Ripley: Well, I... it looks like a warning. I'm gonna go out after them.

Ash: What's the point? I mean by the-the time it takes to get there, you'll... they'll know if it's a warning or not, yes?

[vonxylofon@witter.cz]

@cos @Natasha_Jay Roger Ebert only has a four-star scale.
