Dear #OSM #openstreetmap community, how do you usually contribute?

Dear #OSM #openstreetmap community, how do you usually contribute? The web UI is a bit cumbersome, even on desktop, so I've recently been contributing via #CoMaps on Android. What other apps can you recommend for contributing/updating data?

@graves501 I mostly contribute via StreetComplete (https://streetcomplete.app/). Although, when I want to change something specific, I do use CoMaps.

@graves501 depends entirely on what you want to map. If it's updating businesses, amenities, highway features (crossings etc), I would use StreetComplete. For any type of relation like routes and boundaries or landusw, JOSM or the iD editor on the desktop.

@graves501 I am still using the standalone Editor #josm most of the time.

@graves501 If you’re on iOS, I’d recommend Go Map!!

@BUnicycling Yeah, amenities and shop/business data on the go mostly. CoMaps is pretty convenient so far, but I'll check out StreetComplete as well, thanks!

@jorgeluis Sounds like a good compromise as StreetComplete only shows missing/outdated info as far as I can tell.
