@mhoye Interestingly enough, this means not only that there weren't any minoritised people in the room, but also *no people that take any pride in their work*. Obviously the racism is weird and icky, but even taking that out, plagiarising from a white guy who was actually good at his work would still be aggravating.
Which means that everyone in that room was a mediocrity.

Maybe also setting aside some of the stranger questions this ad raises, like why is Kyle crying about a colleague being competent and who goes to a colleague’s office to delint a jacket they’re still wearing because they’re good at spreadsheets.

Also the brown guy is remote, visually, and voiceless (as in gets no opp to convey anything, as a person).
And they're all doing what they imply is "what the boss wants" eg doing what it takes to "get ahead".

@mhoye Incredibly telling that a company famed for its crabs in a bucket approach to performance reviews, punishing team leaders for giving too much praise and requiring they have a certain number of employees at the 60% firing threshold no matter how well they're doing as a team, thinks this is what will sell their product. Got to use AI, entitled white guy, got to make sure you get a good employee evaluation! You don't want to lose your job to a more qualified, hard working minority, do you?
