We don't need the 900th version of some already created thing that will be abandoned in a year or so after its creator gets bored.
The good shit, the REALLY good shit, is stuff that has been around for YEARS and its maintainers have adopted as not just a fun project, but a determined expression of goodwill towards humanity.
