The behavior you are seeing from ICE and from the Trump regime is the behavior of people who are scared.
Their bluster is fear. Their threats are fear. Their aggression is fear. Their defensiveness is fear. Their scrambling to keep their faces hidden and their actions secret is fear. Their desperate stream of liearrhea is fear. Their panic is fear.
They are acting tough, but they are not acting like people who are winning.
Keep them afraid.

Hell yes! It means we are winning. As someone who's worked with victims of domestic abuse, I felt it so hard when Kamala Harris was saying "I know Donald Trump's type. I used to put people like him in prison." I did too with testimony. These people are all abusers of various kinds, and they are acting exactly as abusers act when accountability is near. Press on! We have them flailing! -

@AAKL I take neither of those things for granted myself, but yes, they’re afraid of all that — and more broadly, they’re afraid that their power grab has outrun popular support and the clock is ticking. The MAGA Titanic is already sinking; the question is how very long it takes before it reaches the bottom of the ocean, and how many people it hurts on the way down.

@inthehands Yes. Biden interrupted their plans. In that way, he "stole" the election. They will fight tooth and nail before letting go this time, and more likely, they will have to be booted out en masse. But given that this is an unnatural state of affairs, it will come crashing down, sooner or later.

@inthehands @AAKL it's important not to take things like this for granted. Both times Trump won, a lot of folks took his impending loss for granted. I believe that hurt us both times.

Lord yes, however this winds up being handled legally, the people will not stand for sweeping this under the rug. That won't stop the same old cowards continuing to be cowards, but it will end their dogshit excuses for careers. -
