@hannah I mean, it does a great job of wrapping up a bunch of loose ends, but it also lacks so much of his trademark whimsy and fun.

@Nickiquote @hannah I have refused to read that one. I purchased it when it came out in a fit of excitement, but then the realization sunk in that it wasn't Adams... And that was a non-starter.

@hannah not even half an hour ago I was mentioning to a student the B Ark passage and how mathematicians, programmers and engineers are being treated just like the telephone sanitizers: if those people delegate their thinking and learning to the AI, we'll be stuck with a population who cannot maintain and develop technology
