The focus of the video is on reducing fuel usage on current style container ships rather than a full sail powered container ship, but its still very interesting:

The overall take away is that some modern sail tech can save up to 10% of the current fuel usage and have ROI times in the 8-15 year range, well within a container ships estimated lifespan, making them viable economically too. The good news is that the companies that make these sails are selling them as fast as they can make them.

While 10% doesn't seem that much, 10% fuel saving on a 22.000 TEU container ship is a lot more than 100% fuel saving on a +-35 TEU equivalent catamaran. Having that option is appreciated though
Now we just need to get rid of the need for 22.000 TEU container ships full of plastic crap.

@anne_twain I believe dirigibles are mainly a trick for accessing venture capital and running. They all seem to use helium, which on earth is basically a byproduct of the fossil industry. It's also a rare material which is essential for technologies such as MRI scanners. Wasting it on balloons of any size is a folly. @BenjaminHCCarr
