I've deactivated my Bluesky account.
I haven't exactly been having fun there- today's "CEO inviting transphobia" news doesn't help.
I was there to make connections but honestly it's increasingly just becoming noise. I remain convinced that real decentralization is better (warts and all).

@wesley83 It's a bit convoluted but it has to do with the CEO using the word "waffles" to refer to specific behavior from folks looking to make Bluesky better.

@ravindra Thanks. From the rest of the thread, I gather that someone had a critique of Bluesky about their moderation of transphobes and this was the response of their CEO. Something like that?
