    Help me out. One of these are going in the trash, and the other is gifted to my son.

    I love the highly weathered "green" bronze version that has withstood the test of time (um, 24 hours of forced patination). But, the other one that was painted with bronze paint maintains a look that filament prevents. They both have their visual strengths.

    Which one is best?

          @MThaastrup @asbjorndyrendal Can't argue with the experts. I'll admit the one on the left is kind of "too green."

          Inspecting it, it turned out the oxidized bronze consisted of relatively large crystals. So I took my trusty Dremel and wore down three brass polishers until the entire figure looked far more "naturally aged." It now looks like a genuine bronze statue.
