I hate Windows 11, it's just a nuisance to work with.
I have a Macbook Pro M5 and I want sure fire way to make everything work right. It can easily handle 3 additional monitors, the only issue is emulating games from Steam on the Mac.
Does anyone have any good suggestions for making the transition?

@Stagen For gaming, and I'll admit I have a bias here, more people are switching to Linux, if that's an option for you. Compatibility on Mac got REALLY weird when Apple moved to their new processor architecture. On Linux, you can use the same hardware and play almost all of the same games.

@ampersandrew @Stagen I came here to ask if Linux was out of the question

?@svedigtype @ampersandrew not at all, but I have no idea where to begin. I don't find the Mac vs. Linux ecosystem too different, but it's gonna be a longer journey, I reckon.

@Stagen Of course, if you already know and use Mac, I totally understand.
I totally recommend Linux for gaming on Steam though. And in general
, it's such a relief to be rid of the Microslop, and there's so much help to find here when transitioning to Linux
But I totally get the 'don't know where to start', I had someone install it for me, and I recommend that too

@svedigtype @ampersandrew well, what distro do you use, for starters?
