John Frankenheimer's Ludlum film "The Holcroft Covenant" was apparently a bit of a flop & Michael Caine didn't like it, but I still think it's one of his best.

John Frankenheimer's Ludlum film "The Holcroft Covenant" was apparently a bit of a flop & Michael Caine didn't like it, but I still think it's one of his best.
Of course the plot is something of a Nazi wet dream - a dastardly brilliant plan by some fanatic 3rd Reich Masterminds
️ nearly succeeds in enslaving the world. It's my favorite kind of escapism: Unrealistic. You'll notice that in reality, Nazis, while still dangerous, are always fucking idiots.
