This is closely related to one of my core arguments against #AI: Even if it worked & wasn't an ethical & environmental nightmare, implementing it into your business to save money only works until you're locked in - at which point OpenAI et al will start raising the cost up to & then past whatever you saved firing all those employees.
They have a trillion dollars to recoup but even it they didn't, why would they NOT do this? It's #capitalism baby!
